PERSEVERANCE….IS IT REALLY THE KEY TO SUCCESS?

“PERSEVERANCE IS THE HARD WORK YOU DO AFTER YOU GET TIRED OF DOING THE HARD WORK YOU ALREADY DID.” – Newt Gingrich

“How you do anything is how you do everything.” – T. HarvEker

Perseverance is a steady persistence in a course of action-trying again and again. It is the inner machine that keeps you going. I’ve realised that I have to be committed in all I do to have success and not give up, no matter the circumstances. There were times I felt like giving up, I felt drained, discouraged and thought it made no sense to continue fighting what seemed to be a losing battle. Can you relate to this?

Ask yourself this question which will determine if perseverance is the key to success for you: “If you give up, who will fight for you?”

You may be lacking perseverance as a parent, maybe you are as a student, in your business, or as an individual trying to overcome a specific challenge. Sometimes it takes very little to bring you to the point of giving up when you are not seeing the result you expected.

Many want to achieve what they want comfortably, but if you’re not yet successful and you’re too comfortable. You are not far from experiencing poverty.

Taking risks is not comfortable: If you were to ask the most successful people in the world how they reached success, they will talk about an uncomfortable time in their life that they had to persevere through.

Let’s take a look at some practical steps you can take to move forward successfully.

5 TIPS ON HOW TO PERSEVERE THROUGH CHALLENGES

Learn how to manage stress and make time for yourself
Ensure you set realistic goals and develop the mental capacity to reach them.
Have confidence in yourself.
Don’t compare yourself to others; we all differ in strengths and talents, and drawing comparisons will put unfair pressure on you.
Stay resilient at all times.
How many times have you started an important task or project but gave up when faced with a challenge?

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself how much you would have achieved if you didn’t give up?

How long are you going to make it to the starting line but not the finish line?

Are you not aching to experience the feeling of success instead of getting excited by just watching others?

So what is the challenge that you are facing now and have you been tempted to go back into your comfort zone? If yes, ask yourself this question; will I benefit more from giving up and continuing the vicious cycle – in a Rat race going nowhere or persevering to accomplish your desired success?

REMEMBER, WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WIN!!

What You Say … Is It Important Or Just Simply Words?

3 FUNDAMENTALS TO SPEAKING & REMAINING POSITIVE

How many times have you heard that someone has probably died or there has been a serious altercation which started because of something that was said? Consider the times when an unknown individual approaches you and says one kind word that changes the course of your day. The same if someone says something bad.

Remember whatever you say whether good orbad will always release a reaction.

So imagine you’ve bought a new piece of clothing and feeling excited you get dressed up and after feeling satisfied and confident looking in the mirror you ask “how do I look hun?” and the response is negative – you realise that you become deflated like a balloon and you have flipped from feeling satisfied and confident to being doubtful, unsatisfied and unhappy. THE POWER OF WORDS

What you say is very important as what you say is what you do and who you are. The great book (Bible) tells you that life and death are in the power of the tongue.

I have realised from attending numerous seminars that successful people speak to their day – what it is that they want to see manifested.

I have learnt that your word creates your world because the impact of what you say is immensely powerful.

What you say does not just affect you but also those around you for example your children. What you say to your children from a tender age helps to create their blueprint for life. The main beliefs taken on from your child is what you said to them at a young age.

I read an awesome book written by Joyce Meyer titled ‘Change Your Words, Change Your Life;’and urge you to read it as well. Joyce Meyer goes into an in-depth discussion about the impact your words have on your life.

THREE FUNDAMENTS OF POSITIVE SPEAKING

REMAIN POSITIVE IN ORDER TO SPEAK POSITIVE
DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVES BUT FOCUS ON THE POSITIVES!!!! What you focus on is what you will speak about and what you speak about is what will be actioned.

One has to keep a solid balance on what it is they speak about on a daily basis because if you keep on speaking about the problems you will not come across the solutions. Can you relate to this?

SAY IT AS YOU WANT TO SEE IT

WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT TO SEE?  THEN SAY IT!! Have you ever noticed that if you decide to buy a car and you talk about that specific car you are thinking of buying, for example a Ford Focus Ghia. You will realise that you will start seeing them everywhere? I know right….That is how powerful your thoughts is, because you have acknowledged that car you have created a cell which now identifies with it; it’s the same and even more powerful when you speak it out as it will be action. The power is in the laws of attraction.

DESIRE POSITIVITY & HAVE PERSPECTIVE
It’s one thing to eloquently speak positively but it’s entirely another to be a positive person at heart. Try and make positive words be a part of your daily speech. Positivity is a state of mind and relies on our perspective to get it accurate. It is inevitable as humans living in a negative society to be carried away with the negative that happens around us, hence it will take great effort for one to program and maintain your mind in a state of positivity. Attend positive and uplifting events, surround yourself with like minded people, listen to positive speakers, do positive activities and exercises, you will begin to notice a difference.

Just remember that your WORD creates your WORLD.
